I've had a Kiwi prop on my 37' wood sloop for three summers. I couldn't be more pleased with it. The boat appears to sail better and it certainly powers better. The biggest difference between this and my fixed two blade prop is when powering into the wind or waves. The boat barely slows down from powering into flat seas. There have been times I have motored a slalom course around sailboats in front of me when powering into heavy winds or seas. The prop does require annual breakdown and maintenance and by the end of the summer it is quite stiff, but I expect that if it were so stiff that it wasn't feathering or reversing I would notice the vibration, which I don't. I do have to lock the shaft in reverse when sailing or it freewheels. There is a photo of the prop on the web site for my boat.
