I installed a 3 bladed kiwiprop last season on my 2000 Bavaria 34. My impressions so far: a) excellent support from the manufacturer regarding the size and pitch (which is adjustable) for my specific boat; and delivery from NZ; b) improved performance ahead by approximately 1 knot at 2000 rpm; c) no vibration or transom turbulence under sail with transmission in neutral; d) very responsive going astern into my slip, very little "prop walk". I treated the prop with anti-fouling prior to launching this season, and will be hauling out at the end of November, so I will see if there is any fouling. I had asked the manufacturer about painting the prop and he said the composite could be painted with any of the normal products usd here in the US.
