Kiwi-grip and diamond non-slip?

Has anyone used Kiwigrip on the diamond anti-slip surface on a Hunter.
The original grey paint is getting worn and I wonder if Kiwigrip could be applied directly onto the daiamond surface.
Any experiences or comments?

I don't see why not. If you think you have paint over the diamond non-skid, I would try to remove it first.

I used Interlux Interdeck and it worked great. I would not want to cover up the diamond pattern with Kiwigrip.

I have some small spots under my kiwi grip where I didn't remove the diamond non-skid. It covers fine. Know it causes you to use a lot more material though. If you are doing kiwi grip, sand your decks down with 60 grit. It doesn't take long....

Thanks, I'll have a look at the Interdeck and will remove the diamonds if I decide on Kiwi.
Any idea what paint the original grey would be. It seems to have a bit of grip but isn't rough or abrasive.
