Ok. so I saw some talk on here about the Kiwi Feathering prop a few months back and since I was in the market, I decided to get one. Put my H380 in the the slings today for an hour or so and installed the prop. I did a few test runs before and after and I have to say that it did better than my old prop in every phase. I got more speed at a given rpm setting with the KIWI and reverse was incredible,,, for example moving foward at 5kts and easing into reverse at 1500 rpm, it took almost 40 seconds for the boat to slow to zero, about 20 with the KIWI... As far sailing goes, we were hoping to get out on the open water tomorrow and anchor out for the night, but Jean may screw up those plans... I won't be able to give a direct comparison with the sails up, but hopefully I will be able to see the effects of less drag... Brian
