If any fellow Hunter 18.5 owners can tell me how the rudder on this boat kicks-up for launching, I would like to know. Did not see any lines or anything obvious attached to the rudder assembly. It is a 1988 model. thanks Bob
Hi Bob, Hope you are enjoying the boat. To allow the rudder to kick-up, loosen the nut (looks like a 2" lever) on the port side of the rudder. Of course, you tighten it back down once the rudder is returned to upright position. "Happy Days" is doing well. Frank
