Kenyon Gas Stove

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with their Kenyon stove. This is the first time I have used the gas ring.
I put in a new gas canister (Campingaz 250) to seal off some Marlow ends. A couple of days later it was empty.
I have tried to do a search with no avail, Have any of you guys had the same experience or know of a remedy for this, or is a case of pull it out and start again.

I will assume you are talking about the butane canister stove. The way to do it is to disengage the canister when you are done using the stove. It is best to rely on the canister's self sealing mechanism than the stove valve.
