Does anyone have any clever ideas for being able to keep pillows on the wide end of a V berth during the night ? I know this sounds like a possibly dumb question, but we are stumped!

fashion yourself something like a leeboard or leecloth.... either can be made to be removable or as a permanent install....

On my H376 the stbd side of the 'V' berth buts against the edge of the wash basin so I made a simple square of ¼" ply to stand vertically between the berth cushion and the edge of the basin. Normally it just lays under the cushion.
Port side head of berth is up against the wardrobe.

One hand for yourself and one for the pillow. I guess you could place the pillows under the sheets or bed covers and tuck the ends.

Here are two ideas

So, I was giving this some thought... If you google bed rails - you may find some thing for a child's bed that could work. They tend to have arms that slide under the mattress to hold it up. Some models swing too. Kijiji has loads of them. Granted it may be hard to get into bed.

Second and this may be a super easy option... I'm not sure where your lockers are but if you screwed an eye into either side of your bed (up at least 5 inches) you could hook a panel of lifeline netting across the bed. If you added stretchy elastic to each corner between the netting and the screw in eye, you could probably even get into bed by just crawling in. You could tuck the bottom edge under the mattress or put another eye on the lower corners to hold that in place.

Hope this gives you some ideas.
