I bought my 28 in the water and have not seen its keel, I know its a wing keel and is at an angle, is it possible to stand her against a wall (tied up) at low tide to give her a clean or will she not like the strain put on her. I have some pretty bad algae growth which I want to scrub off, but do not want to go the costs of having her lifted. Kind regards Frank

Not sure, but ....

On mine, I use a dry diver to get the worst of the slime/algea off. The dry diver works great, but again, I am on a lake, so the growth is pretty soft. The boat does rest on its keel when pulled and placed in a stand, but remember that the boat is also supported by the side stands. I would be careful. Regards. Bruce. Neon Moon

28 Standing on its Keel

I had the same question. I called the Hunter factory last week and was told that I shouldn't do it since it could damage the keel. We also just had a diver go down last week. It was $30 to clean the bottom plus another $28 to change the zinc. Dave
