Keel work on the 18.8

We chipped all the existing paint off of the winged keel of the boat last fall and coated it with a air drying epoxy. This spring we have to do the very bottom of the keel that rests on a support on the trailer. My question is how long can I safely suspend the keeled section without support? Would a week be too long? Paul

What we do here is to rest the keel on blocks but spaced out so we can work on the bottom of the keel. I would not suggest holding the boat up with stands unless you have plenty and know hhow to space them. Make sure you chain the stands together.
