Keel types 310 early and late models

I noticed there are 2 types of wings. The front (leading edge) is different. we got the early type and experienced how good this is in collecting waterplants..... Most lakes here are 2 till 4 metres deep wih a lot waterplants. any body who made a modification to the keel ?
I was thinking a piece of "plastic" to make it more V shape and just glue it on.

It sounds like a possible solution. It will be design dependent to shed more flotsam than it collects.

Attachment, I would think, needs to be somewhat permanent. Perhaps epoxy or 5200 as an adhesive would be worth a try. Ultimately you might find a screwed in fastener to be a solution.
