keel modification to Morgan IO 41

I have been told that there is a keel mod for the IO 41 that is added to the shoal keel that is a type of wing. The boat has and increase in speed and points up higher with less side drift. Does anyone know who makes the mod and how to get in contact with the company. I would also like to hear from anyone who has done the mod. to see if it really works.

Keel Modifications

Mars Metals makes the shoal draft wings you are seeking. They were recently featured in an article in Cruising World magazine, where a fin keel boat was modified to shoal draft by conversion to a wing keel.The wings are no small project to install. Boring through the lead keel is slow and difficult.Also, in the case of your OI, if you are already in shoal draft configuration, some weight will have to be removed from the existing keel to achieve desired keel weight.All said, the owners featured in the CW article were very pleased with the modification. They spent around $10K for the job, but didn't have to go out and buy another boat.
