I know this is an old question, but I would like to know the latest approach successfully taken to solve it. My 1986 Hunter 31' Keel joint always needs repair after each hauling. I have tried epoxy and 3M 5200 with minimum success. Has anyone come up with an method that at least works for a few seasons?

Hunter's Perscription

This from Greg Emerson at Hunter in a related answer to me last summer: "The crack should be dremeled out and then filled with 3M 5200 and then the crack should be fiber glassed over. Sand above and below the crack about 3 inches each and use a single layer of about 10 ounce fiberglass cloth. Use an epoxy resin to wet out the fiberglass. Thanks" Greg Emerson
