Keel drain plug..

Hi,
Can someone send me a picture of the keel drain plug and it's location on the keel? Or maybe post it to the site?

That would help me to find mine. I keep having these visions of me drilling many holes in the boat to find the plug...

If you can't see it, a previous owner may very well have glassed it
over. Done fairly commonly, I understand.

The keel drain is on the starboard side in Series II and III Vegas. About 8 " forward of the rudder shoe and about 4" above the bottom of the keel.

I believe the Petrol vega (Series I) has teh drain on the port side and slightly higher.

Hello All,
In the photo department you can find a picture with some arrows
pointing at the drainplug for the bildge and the hollow space in the
keel for a vega type 1.
