keel bolt repair

after removing the keel on my 22, i noticed one of the bolts was loose. under inspection it came away in my hand. a real pain in the butt as i am trying to get her back in the water as soon as possible and i know nothing about fiber repairs. can you access the bolts from the cabin or are they glassed into place from the outside? should i use epoxy or polyester resin and does anyone know a good chiropractor? that keel is heavy.

Keel Bolts

I know how heavy the keel is, I removed and reinstalled the keel on my 22 last week. The advice I had from the Catalina Owner Forum was excellent and everything went well. The help from Catalina Direct Tech Support was also right on target. If you call Catalina Direct and get to their Tech Support department they will give you all the advice and instruction you will need. It does take a few calls to get to them, they are always busy but when you do they will not rush and they are very thorough with the explanations and the support. I found it difficult to raise the keel back up into the well myself but I did it using a little imagination and a few hydraulic jacks along with a rig I made to keep the keel plumb while being raised.
