Katadyn 160 warer maker motor

I have a Katadyn 160 water maker on board my yacht when I purchased it, that's been pretty much neglected. The motor is full of salt don't know where from but it is stuffed just wondering if anyone might have had a motor to suit this as they're not available from Katadyn

This may be a bit of a long shot but I am sure that motor was originally built by Siemens or Hitachi or some other company. I would have a close look at it for logos, part numbers etc and see if you can find the original manufacturer.

I would also put in a query with Katadyn to see if they can tell you who they bought that motor from.
