I got a bottle of that K.O. for my waste holding tank. I know it is not compatible with any other treatment so I wondered if it is OK to use the occasional shot of vinegar and an occasional shot of vegetable oil if the K.O. is in the holding tank.
forget the shot of mineral oil. Not only will it leave an oil slick on the surface in the tank--suffocating the contents--but it doesn't do much good anyway 'cuz ANYthing you just pour down the toilet washes out in a flushes. Spend a whole 15 minutes lubricating your head ONCE for the whole season--by removing the top of the pump and shooting a healthy dose of SuperLube (the same thick teflon grease that was in it when left the factory) into it.
