K.O. or C.P.?

Peggie, I just removed a badly corroded holding tank from my Hunter 37-cutter. The starboard wall of the tank completely failed and sewage seeped onto the fiberglass hull. The hull is stained from the black water. I sprayed with C.P. and K.O. and let sit over night. When I went over the area with a scrub pad, the stains scrubbed away. I will continue these actions until the area is clean. My question is, should I spray the area with K.O. or C.P. to remove the sediment? How long should I let it set before I scrub? Thank you. Neither is a stain remover

To remove stains, scrub with detergent and water...you can use some scouring powder or a "scrubby pad" (or both) on the stubborn ones. Flush thoroughly with clean water. Mop up all remaining water. Spray undiluted K.O. all over the spill area to eliminate any remaining ODOR...and just let it dry while the area remains open for 24 hours. Don't do anything else. If any ODOR remains, you missed a spot. Unless you still have stains, don't scrub again, just spray again with K.O., making sure to get it into all the "nooks and crannies."
