This boat is in phenomenal condition for the price I picked it up for. This builder went out of business fairly quickly because, I suspect, they built these boats too well. From the gelcoat to the joinery she is amazing. The PO spared no expense upgrading the motor, standing rig, roller furl, etc. I have scoured the web and there is very limited info for this model. Are there any owners on this list or does anyone have any other information for this boat?

The Sovereign 7m was built from molds of the S2 7.0. They bought them after S2 made their 7.0 for one year. I owned one (S2 model) for a time, it was well built, but heavy and slow. The shallow draft keel made progress to windward painful. There is a ton of room inside, and I like the layout of your boat better than the S2 model for sure.
The company? The got into the sailboat business (1980) when ANYONE could make money building boats. The folded when only the good could.
