We have checked, double checked, shopped and provisioned. Peter is taking the rental car back now, and soon as he gets back we should be ready to get underway. Only other stop is to topping off the diesel tank, and stock up on ice. Going to come out of Cape Coral, around the S. end of Sannibel island, and head north. Looks like a course of 320 for 230 miles. Waypoint off Appalachicola, then west at 285 for Biloxil. Total distance, approx. 460 miles. Weather is looking almost too good. Very light winds and calm seas forecast. Wed. night is supposed to get up to 15 to 20 knots and seas 3 to 5's. By Wed. that will probably be a welcome relief, and feel pretty good, but we may be past that area before it gets there. Maybe we will get lucky and manage to find a little thunderstorm or two. YAHOOO

Godspeed!

Don't take any unnecessary risks. It only counts if you finish. ;)

Good weather, good sunsets, good company, great memories. Wish I could go with you! Say, what boat are you travelling in? Not up on your posts. Are you planning any stops along the way? thanks, patrick
