Just a little bit more... Every year!

I have three OMC engines all exhibiting the same problem. They all die at idle, especially when warm. Every year it seems that I have to increase the idle speed a bit more to get around the issue. I have an Evinrude 9.9 and an OMC Saildrive on the sailboat. They share the same tank, fuel filter, electric priming pump and a portion of the fuel lines. The 9.9 had this issue when I was using it with an external tank.

I'm looking for any test proceedures or diagnostic charts anyone can recommend. I have service manuals for both. The Saildrive is an inboard so I'm a bit hesitant to try to find leaks with propane in an enclosed space. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Compression? Fairly easily tested with a compression meter. I don't know much about engines but your post needs more eyes to see it.

Thanks for the bump @shemandr. I'm wondering if there's a way to do a vacuum test on the crank cases to test for leaks. All three engines are two stroke
