JRC 1800 Gone

After reading all of the posts on the merits and price point of the JRC 1800 chartplot/radar system. I finally decided to purchase. Low and behold it totally disappeared from the market. Last Friday they were available from $1,200-$1500. On Monday when I called to order, I cannot seem to located one anywhere. Have been getting differing explanations as to what is going on. Some suppliers said they are back ordered and will be available next year. Others said that this product has been discontinued and may or may not be replaced with another unit. Others said JRC is out of business. Anyone know what is going on and where I can purchase? Any help greatly appreciated.

Doubt JRC is OOB

They are a major electronics manufacturer. Did you try Defender and Boaters' World too? Good luck, Rick D.

Searched Extensively

I have searched all over the web with no results (including Boaters and Defenders). It is very strange that they were available one day and gone the next.

Many of the sights show the 1800, however, when you hit the purchase button, either it shows up as $0.00 amount or it goes to a blank screen. Just try it! The link Fred submitted was the only possibility. I will call tomorrow to see if they are in stock. Thanks for the information.
