Has anyone ran into the part you need marked as OBSOLETE on the manufacturer's website? I have 1979 6hp Johnson Sea Horse and need a new prop. Is there a good after-market website?

or ebay, craigslist will be a good source for NLA. Throw the Sailmaster prop on that johnson. It should fit. bigger prop, with less pitch...will push the boat with less RPM' The sailmaster (or Yachtwin from evinrude) is 9.25 x 6.5 part no: 392183
I guess those early props are different after 1979...Iboats has one for you though:

Yeah, a little more surfing and I came across Michigan Wheel props. I'm not sure I could put something on my boat from Michigan, I am a Buckeye through and through!
