I posted a question about this a few weeks ago, but haven't found a response anywhere... How do I go about ordering the non-skid sealant w/o the IG pink? I have two bottles of pink already and want to finish sealing the non-skid and add another coat for more durability on my O272. As I mentioned in the earlier post, I'm impressed with the non-skid sealant. It appears to be a durable product for long-term protection and grip on the non-skid surface. The season is winding down for me here on Lake Erie. I am a teacher and will be going back to school next week. This means only an occasional weekend until Nov. when we haul out the boats 'til next season :>( Tom

Non-skid touchup

As the sealant layer gets weathered and walked on the water beading gets reduced and it no longer spills surface dirt as well. Out here in the tropics we're talking about 6 months. However, if you use undiluted pink, you can remove the "dead" surface layer exposing good sealant underneath. Then rinse well with tap water and towel dry (old bath towel or microfiber cloth). Then apply a single "refresher coat" this will reseal the tops of the "teeth" of the non-skid, protect the deck all winter and makes recommissioning the boat next season very easy. This sealant is very durable because it contains one resin that is very hard when set, and other resins that are quicker drying make the product set up reasonably fast. One thing I have found is that rinsing with water after the sealant has set to at least the "tacky" stage accelerates hardening and washes away dispersant and any uncured components so that the surface is not sticky. You should always hose off before walking on it. If applying 2 or more coats in a single (warm) day, rinsing and drying between coats this way ensures that uncured material does not get trapped between layers. I only determined this AFTER the labels were printed and after input from a customer. You can now get single bottles of the sealant at the site chandlery under the "single bottle" section. Thanks for the input ALW
