Ok. How many think the jiffy reefing set-up on bigger O'Days is a nuisance? Would smaller diameter lines run better? Or, can I just tie a couple of thin lines through the reef points and around the boom?
Dee - First - smaller lines tied through the reef points will work fine but may be a pain in the neck to use. I would think you'd want to be able to pull the sail down more easily from the mast. Smaller lines might help with the standard set up. I would just make sure they're not so small that they hurt your hands. Justin - O'day Owners' Web
