Jiffy Reef & Outhaul Attachment

Hello friends. I have the 84 22'. I seem to be missing the Boom attachment for the Main outhaul line. Is that a removable part on y'alls booms? My boom doesn't have anything to attach the Main's outhaul to. Pictures would be sweet. Thanks on that. Also, does anyone have some sort of visual diagram or picture of how the Catalina Jiffy Reef system is supposed to be rigged for an 80ish boat? Mine's definately not right. Thanks a bunch.

This might help.

The link below is a picture from a C25 manual. It's not clear to me what the outhaul setup is in this picture but it might help with a reefing system. For the outhaul on our 22 there is a line attached to a padeye on one side of the boom aft, and a cleat on the other side. We just pull the line thru the clew, tighten up and cleat it off. It might not be the original setup.John
