I really think this is the original stem fitting for the boat. I found a picture of a 1984 model that appears to have the exact same fitting. Unfortunately, it doesn't have good enough resolution to be positive, but it looks awfully close. Here's the link to the sale page of the boat.

There are lots of pictures, and even some good ones of the bow. Again, unfortunately the resolution is not high enough for a good zoom in.
As for the roller furler, the sail I have with the boat as best I can tell are the original, and they are hanked on. I will be installing a furler later this year once finances recover from the new main sail purchase.

RigRite.com has been around practically forever... or for at least 30 years. They can identify old spars and provide fittings for rigs on "classic plastic" yachts better than any other source I've ever found.
