Hi. My problem is with my jib sheets. My Hunter has the aft winches, which makes single-handing much easier. However, if I roll a jibsheet around the winch drum, it will get crossed when I use the winch handle. If I don't roll the sheet, my conncern is that there is too much load on the teeth of the winch.
Its been suggested to me that the cause is the blocks for the jibsheets are set for the forward winches, so they come in on a bad angle to the aft winches. The cure could be to install some cheek blocks further astern.
Anyone else have this problem? How did you solve it? Thanks.
