Jib sheet preference.

I have a standard rig, with 110% jib. Does anyone have a preference to the running of these sheets? Should they run outboard of the lifeline stanchions or is there a better way?

My C25 had the jib sheet blocks in their standard position on a track at the rail, so it was natural to run the sheet directly out and up to the jib clew. When closehauled, I sheeted in until the foot of the sail was just up against the lifelines. You can not pull the jib inside the lifelines from the rail, so there was no point in running the sheet inside anything from the outboard point of the rail. I assume you're talking about a Catalina 25, and not a Catalina 250?
