Jib sheet blocks on deck configure jib sheets ?

Pass jib sheets on the outside of the running rigging and thru the bloks on deck and to the cockpit or inside the standing rigging through the midship blocks and Back to the cockpit?

Inside of the standing rigging. You won't be able to sheet the jib in enough to point well if you run your jib sheets outside of the mast shrouds.

Good point! I will try that next time out. My pointing has been, let's say, not so good. Always thought the boat should point alot closer to windward.

f you ;have a larger genoa, of course outside the shrouds.
