Bowline on head sails

I have always used a bowline on my head sails and never had a problem. The great thing is that no matter how much pressure you put on one it will always come untied.

bowline

Do you have rollerfurling or not? If you do then you can use one continuous line for jib sheets and no knots are required. Otherwise use a bowline (I do the weird version where you tuck the excess tail inside rather than outside, hard to explain, but it makes it less likely to h ang up on shrouds). You can use a bowline for most anything including halyards.

Definitely bowline

I never could figure out the whole bunny thing but I can do a bad-a** bowline (even behind my back!). :) LaDonna

Which not ?

I use what could be translated in english as a: button strap. I would like to send you a picture of it. But I dont know how. It's an 80cm long line bent in two equal parts with one knot at about 8cm from each end. But you will still need to use the bowline knot for the sheets.
