I need to replace a block at the base of my Hunter 28 Mast. It's one of several that screws into a nut that slips into a slot in the mast base. Has anyone found a source for these? Thanks. Jeremy

Another way

I never could find those sheaves. Alternative is to rig your own by using a u-bolt to a new sheave. Works fine and nobody's the wiser.

US Spars

I have replaced a couple of mine. Our H28 has a Zspar mast and boom. The US site for them is usspars.com. the part number is D166. This is the exact replacement. This part number is not listed on their site. I first ordered the 275 but the bolt is too small. The block is 60 mm with a 8mm pin. Price 47.28 plus ship. I would call them to get the right part. Blocks plus

Thanks to everyone for your input. I ordered the Garhauer ones that Alan recommended before I saw C A's note about US Spars. I hope the Garhauers fit because they are way cheaper. I'll grind and drill if I have to. Hugh, thanks too for your especially innovative solution. A guy at West Marine suggested drilling out the rivet and shackling a standard one to the post. Thanks again. Jeremy
