Thanks for your reply. Mine's aluminum so not the same repair. Once I find the manufacturer I'll look for a repair piece and go from there. Nice image by the way.

I had a connector on my Harken furler on H23 snap. Luckily parts (connector, set screws, plastic wedges) were still in stock. If yours is similar, a regular propane torch may be needed to get the screws loose, if Loctite was used. Since I had to cut the swaged eye off the stay to install the foil sections, I bought a swageless eye so I could retread the new stay wire on site.
