Hello all I am a recent new owner of a Hunter 37 Cutter. She was in poor state to start. Having dealt with a serious case of osmosis and renewing the standing rigging I am left with two more problems to sort out. I would appreciate your help/guidance if possible! 1. The fairlead/jib furler track joints need replacing. I can't manage to source them out there! They are splined and consist of two halves which fit within the furler track carrier. Any pointers on how to acquire replacements? 2. The Jib halyard sheaves are shot away and need replacing! Any pointers as to how to source these? I would fit a replacement system but funds are becoming short:) Help on these parts would be appreciated.

Hi Mike, I once stayed on the quay in Poole and have fond memories of a pub - the Jolly Sailor maybe? Anyway, to answer you questions, need to know what make the furler is - could orginally be CDI or Hood depending on the year. Halyard sheaves should be Kenyon (same as the spar), Here are a couple of links to try. Good luck. If you can't get the advice you need on this website, you're SOL mate! http://www.sailcdi.com/welcome.htm http://www.rigrite.com/Spars/Kenyon_Spars Best regards, Jim Legere S/V CALYPSO 1983 Hunter 37C
