Hello, dear colleagues!
I have the desire to buy a sailing boat in Japan.
Look here: http://www.chukotei.jp/cgi/
In my letters to the Japanese did not respond, or respond that they can not help with the delivery of a boat in Russia.
Does anyone know of a Japanese dealer, his email address?
Thank you.

In 2008 a member of the Yamaha Forum posted the following information about how he found a boat in Japan. He included the contact information for the broker who helped him. You might try contacting this person. I wish you good luck in your efforts.

I've been living in Japan for 3 years and decided I needed to quit sulking about selling my Catalina before moving here and go and buy another boat. What I found was it is nearly impossible to buy a sailboat in Japan if you are not fluent in Japanese, and well, Japanese. After trying unsuccesfully for months on my own, I found a boat broker. Within two weeks he found me a beautiful Yamaha 30. I've had her for only 2 weeks now, but I've had her out almost daily and it is an amazing boat. If you are interested in buying a Yamaha I can direct you to the man I used. I checked with him, and he does arrange freight or will hire a crew to move boats to the west coast of the US.

His name is Nao Hotta-san. You can e-mail him at:

Just tell him that Buttercup's owner sent you.
