I have posted several issues I have had with my Jabsco toilet in the past. A lot of my problem is in the way Hunter designed my boat but now I'm having a new problem. I installed a new toilet last Octoder and checked all hoses. The pump has been working fine until about a month ago. Waste is backing into the bowl and I can't get in to move to the tank. I thought there was a blockage so I cleared the lines and emptied the tank, checked all the vents and everything is clear. It still will not move the waste to the tank. I am now sure from listening to the pump that it is not priming properly and therefore doesn't create the push needed to move the fluid forward. Other than adding a little cooking oil to the bowl is there something else I can do?

Bowl contents should move in dry mode

Up to 6', in fact. So whether the toilet can bring in any flush water has nothing to do with the reason waste is backing up. So you have TWO entirely separate problems--no flush water (my guess is either a failed wet/dry cam that isn't moving when you turn the lever, or a failed flapper valve, or a blockage in the intake thru-hull) AND something that's preventing you from flushing. Adding oil to the bowl won't solve either problem. If you're sure the tank vent is clear, there are a couple of possibilities as to why the toilet can't move waste. If you're feeling backpressure when you pump, a jammed wet/dry cam could be the cause for both problems....or it could be a blockage somewhere downstream of the pump. If the toilet flushes as easily as it ever did, the toilet isn't the culprit...but if the pump feels really "loose"--doesn't feel like it's creating any push when you pump--look for a hairline crack that's creating an air leak in the pump. First check the joker valve to see if anything is caught in it. While you have the discharge hose off, check the inside of it for sea water mineral buildup. You're in a warm climate, which means a much higher mineral content in the sea water...I've seen sea water calcium carbonates reduce a 1.5" hose to less than 1/2" in two years. A 1" discharge could be almost totally blocked. If that's not it, and you've eliminated every other possibility, somebody's flushed something they shouldn't have...you're gonna have to find it and remove it. Do NOT use a plunger! Plungers don't cause any problems when they push, but the suction when they pull back will mess up the seals, o-rings etc in the toilet pump.
