Hello Peggy,I have COMPLETELY replaced the sanitation system in our Hunter 35.5. Following your advice, we used Ronco tank, Odor Safe hose, double clamps, even a new SS pump-out deck fitting. Wouldn’t you know it; Hunter actually ran the discharge hose bulkhead opening straight to the discharge output of the Jabsco head. Unfortunately, both the original, and the new, heads have a rotating 'discharge elbow' provided for this connection. Points anywhere but where the hose is. The old black hose from Hunter's factory seemed to bend enough to comply with Jabsco's fitting angle. The new, white Odor Safe hose really makes attaching the flange (which hold the elbow to the head assembly by only two screws) leak free, a pain. My question: are there any tricks to make this seal? After three attempts employing everything from the Admiral's hair dryer to KY on the flapper rubber, I still have a small leak at this joint.
