Jabsco Head Replacement

I am going to replace the head (toilet) this week. I have the standard JABSCO head. What is the best and easiest way to remove the 1.5" black hose from the toilet. It has been on there for 20 years. Great head lasting that long.

Sawzall if your replacing the hose.

If you need to remove the hose from the tank to replace it a heat gun is the thing. Remove the clamps and heat away, you can even use a knife to slit the heated hose along the fitting to allow it to come off.

To put on a new hose the heat gun is a must as you can heat the hose before clamping it and it will help it make a nice water tight seal.
