My original equip (2000 340) Jabsco fresh water pressure pump cycles on every 20 sec. or so. There are NO leaks on boat every fitting / line faucett checked. Bled all air ran a full tank of water hot water heater purged as well still it cycles anyone have another solution . It runs beautifully plenty of pressure etc. i now only turn it on when in use and then off. HELP Tony

My Jabsco,(same boat and year) did the same thing. It was very annoying to say the least. And it was very short and quick bursts, RIGHT. I had a small drip of water coming out from the bottom seal. I contacted Jabsco and they sent out a repair kit the next day. The problem was that, the kit they sent fit newer pumps than ours. After a few calls back and forth, checking numbers etc., we found that I had an older pump. They opted to replace the entire unit. Contact them. I'm sure they'll help you out.

Check the Stern locker
If you have an outside water faucet check it's connections. In my P42 this is located in the aft cabin in the corner of the room. These water connections are often forgotten and a source of leaks. Good luck

Stern locker dry also no drip at pump will pursue pump repair anyone know if they sell repair kit for this might as well replace all i can if i pull the pump t.

My pump was constantly cycling on and off because the valves inside the pump had worn out. I had it rebuilt for $40. Now I have plenty of pressure and the pump only cycles on as needed. I also replaced my accumulator with a 1 gallon one as opposed to the 1 quart one that was there.
