Peggy, I have a question for you. First let me say that I have reviewed a your posts regarding Jabsco products. That said I have a friend who removed two brand new Jabsco 37010 electric heads from his boat to install vacu flush. He is willing to give me the heads for my boat which is a Hunter 2001 Hunter 410 that I purchased with Manual heads. I have two questions. First give the price would you still avoid them or just plan for obsolecence in 4 to 5 years. And second based on hwat I see in their litterature they say the toilet pumps at about 1.5 quarts every 5 seconds do you know how long their standard flush time is? I am trying to gage how much water is adding to the holding tank each time. Thanks.

The price is right...take 'em

Flush time is how long you leave your finger on the button. You can't skimp too much, or you'll leave waste in the pump and discharge hose...so figure on about 12 seconds for urine only...about 20 seconds for solids. Btw, it cost the donor of these toilets upwards of $3,000 to replace both of with VacuFlushes...he could have had everything they offer and more for less than $1000.
