Hello All,
I need to do some wire work on my Z Spar O’Day 192 rig but I can’t find these J Hook terminals anywhere. These are how the shrouds attach to the mast.

Anyone know where I can find them? I reached out to D&R Marine since I know they sell the complete shroud (j hook and wire). I can swage my own wires so I just need the terminal.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried RiggingOnly.com or RigRite.com? Or the SBO store?
It doesn’t look like Rigrite or riggingonly has them. I’ll check SBO too, thanks. I did find a shop in Florida who may have them but I’m waiting to hear back if they’re the right specs.

Call Dan at Rigging Only. He may not list them on his site, but he may be able to get them. Same with @Dave Groshong at SBO.

I think I found them, the specs seem right. I ordered them to compare to what I have on the rig now.

For anyone searching in the future, these are Swage J Hook, 1/8” Wire Terminals, made by the Alexander Roberts Company. ARC is closed due to corona but I found a shop in Florida, Sailing Services, who has them.

Once they arrive I can compare and confirm fitment.

Maybe not true with smaller boats, but larger boats call for machine swage, never by hand, and that's what the picture looks like. My 2 cents. ARC may be sitting at home, monitore their web site.

On my H26, those are only used on the "baby stays".... the stays that stabilize the mast during raising and lowering. The actual shrouds use T-ball connectors.

This is for a small O’Day 192 but, I do have access to a machine swage to run these through if they are the right part. You’re right, the originals are definitely machine swaged.

I wish my boat used T Ball connectors, it’s all J Hooks for the uppers, lowers, and head stay. These j hooks pop out every time I’m raising or lowering the mast but I found out I can use a ball of butyl tape to hold them in place.
