a new home. I have been around the Oday site just about since it started way back when Phil was a struggling neophyte (not really) at this along with the rest of us. I still see some old friends posting, but I guess none of us who were here at the beginning visit and respond as frequently as we used to. Last March a good friend heard that I might want to sell her and referred me to a superb broker who convinced me to list her... which I did. The deal was struck last weekend and I am for the time being BOATLESS, but not for long. The same broker found us a Catalina 30 (more interior room, points better, goes faster) which I will be bringing home in a few weeks. The new boat is located in Oswego, NY, which means the opportunity for a great cruise through Lake Ontario and the Welland Canal to the west end of Lake Erie, final destination West Harbor near Port Clinton, Ohio. So... to make a long story a little shorter, I will now be poking about at the Catalinaowners site. My wife cried when the sale was completed. We sure do get attached to our boats, don't we? Tom, I feel for you...

Tom, I went one year without a boat and it was rough. I hope you and yours are well! I hope your next purchase will be as well loved as your 272. sincerely, r.w.

Thanks, R.W.

You are one of the folks I thought of. I visit the site quite a bit, but don't respond as much as I used to. As with most things, it has changed over time, some good, some not so good. Hope all is well with you and that your boat is launched and rigged for another great season on the water. Tom

Tom, I will also miss you and your profound knowledge of the 272 just as I have missed Bob Todd. Still looking forward to details on the holding tank venting improvements you made when you get time. Good luck with your new boat, Frank Conley
