SUMMER IS HERE! (Launched yesterday) Yesterday was glorious, light winds, almost 70 degrees and sunny. The lake was almost empty, I sailed a couple hours with my wife and two kids. The 10 year old had the tiller the whole time, she even brought us in to a fairly tricky dock. Today is rainy and cold, but that's ok, I have work to do anyway. Hope everyone has a good season, John

Yep had the Huddleston today and Sat. very lite winds sat and not to bad Sun. and as usual I sucked, I dont think the 170 is a lite to no wind boat. Any how I got 4th out of 7 dinghys, just missed 3rd by a point.

One of the things I love about the 170 is how well it moves in light to no wind. Of course, I don't race it, so I don't have much to compare against, but it seems I can ghost along nicely in very little breeze. john
