It seems to me that furling gear is way too essential to trust to an unknown quantity. At the same time I think the unit appears well thought out and at least the ones on the website are well finished. It looks like an overbuilt CDI unit (minus the coiling luff extrusion so at least its something familiar). 100 units sold is a very small volume. I wonder how consistent the builds are. The thing is so simple that the tolerances shouldn't matter much but I'd want to know before I bought. They'd be well served by cutting breaks to people who agree to let others demo the unit under sail. They may have a good product but not such good exposure. Justin
