I recently purchased a Legend 37.5 The boat is fitted with a reefing system allowing reefing from the cockpit. This ISOREFF system looks very good on paper but I can't seem to make it work. Must the reefing lines at the boom extremity be attached on both ends or not. If so, how is it that pulling on the reefing line is cockpit I can't seem to reef the sail all the way down?

Not sure I understand your question...
but the stock reefing system works, but it does not necessarily pull the reef points all the way down to the boom. I run the boom end line through the eye in the sail and down to the boom, tied in a figure 8 in the slide underneath the boom. Maybe someone else can tell you more, or perhaps you could restate your question. I take it you have the drawings of how to rig the system. If not, let us know and someone will send/fax it to you.
