Isomat boom reefing shuttle replacement

I am replacing the reefing lines and sheaves on a passage 42. I have the ends off and I am looking at the shuttle. Is there a suitable replacement for this part? The current ones seem okay but are likely 23 years old. The rig-rite price on new ones is $99. It would seem to me some type of ball- bearing type setup would work better. Lines are 1/2"

All it is is two blocks attached together. It does not HAVE to rigid but I'm thinking it could get a tad noisy when the lines are slack and it bangs around inside the boom
