We need to contact any former employee of Islander Yachts to get a statement for the Coast Guard that Islander Yachts manufactured the Islander Freeport 41 so that the boat can be documented. Any help will be greatly appreciated. The only employee I knew personally was Buster Hammond who is no longer around. He and I worked together at Jensen Marine. Thank you!

Rog , don't you have a builders plate somewhere
inside the boat that has all of this engraved on it? Somebody is making you jump through a bunch of hoops for no good reason I think. Somewhere there is a book or advertisement that details the point of origin for that boat.

HIN's (Builder's Plate)
Thanks for your reply. I don't know if this boat has a Hull Identification Number (HIN) or what you referred to as a builder's plate. I will have to ask. Thanks for reminding me.
