We're planning to replace the head hoses & holding tank on our IP32."Ellis Island" this fall. It looks like it'll be a real bear of a job because the head outlet travels down under the floor behind the bowl then up to a vented loop under the vanity sink, then back down below the floor along the hull, through the bulkhead behind the vanity and into the holding tank under the port settee.
Removing the tank will be easy; getting to the vented loop is the problem. I can remove the sink bowl & faucet, but access to the loop is near impossible without tearing the vanity cabinet apart.
So... I'm wondering if we really need the vented loop at that spot - wouldn't it be better to place it up high behind the settee in the overboard discharge line?
