We have a dodger quite similar to an island nautical style but not exactly. It is old, faded and some of the snaps are ripped. I would like to replace the dodger and I am wondering who out there has purchased and installed an Island Nautical dodger. They send them to you without the snaps installed so you need to do that yourself for the proper fit. Anyone gone thru this and is it more difficult than meets the eye? And how do you like the final outcome? On another topic, shurflo pump has bit it. My repair lasted a couple of days and it is on the fritz again. I went over to boat us and bought a duplicate on sale for 71 dollars less my 10 dollar off coupon. We had a 100 hank on converted to a roller furling sail. I remember one broker telling me I could do this. No problem cost a hundo and your done. Right. Cost 2 hundo to remove the hardware and install the lufftape. Then the sail was too long. Had to shorten and add weather protection. Another 372. Total cost 572, just alittle over the brokers budget of 1 hundo. Another lifes learning lesson on the river. Craig
