Is there a sequence for tightening keel bolts?

I'm about to put my new keel bolt nuts back on. Re-bedded, new backing plates etc.... Is there a particular sequence to putting them back on and tightening them? Start from middle and work towards ends? Start from one end and work to other? Does it matter?

Typically a tightening sequence is used when there is a chance to warp or improperly seat the component - flanges, engine heads are typical examples.

Keel bolts typically don't have a pattern where that could likely happen. I would tighten all of them to firm, then I would tighten all of them say about a half turn each to keep the tension fairly even as you tighten until you get to the required tension on each bolt. Watch to see if any get particularly loose after tightening others.
