I have a Micrologic Loran and a Magellan GPS with an external antenna. Assuming the Loran goes south sometime, I have been looking for fixed-mount GPS's, but they all require you to scroll in each character. Not again! Problem is that the only one I recall seeing was a combo plotter unit for $1500. Don't need a plotter. Anyone recall something along that line? Had a lead on Micrologic, but their phone message says they shut down mid-May. Pity. Rick D.

Ask the Raytheon and Magellan People

At the Rendezvous on Saturday we will have both the Raytheon and Magellan factory rep's giving a seminar, good time to ask them, Ric.
